It’s about time, I think, that we introduce ourselves. Here we are, the ECommerce team, answering your queries and brightening up your news feed, and you don’t really know who we are! How rude of us. Well, never mind, I’m about to remedy that. Here’s a short, lighthearted introduction to the folks you might come across here on HTX Facebook.
Michele
I’m going to go right ahead and start with myself. I’m Michele and I am the one who does all the posting on Facebook. I write the blogs (like this one!) and do all the tweeting on Twitter. Aside from having a wonderful time on social media, I also write travel articles etc for HTX.
I have a gorgeous 5 year old daughter, a naughty little staffie called Billy and a partner who looks like Jon Snow out of Game of Thrones. I like reading, writing poetry and drinking tea. My other favourite things include cake, bacon and toilet humour.
Fleur
This is Fleur, the head honcho in ECommerce. She’s quite often here on Facebook, checking to make sure you guys are happy and pulling me up when I forget stuff (which happens occasionally!) As Head of ECommerce, Fleur spends most of her time dealing with numbers, shmoozing with the big fellas in the suits and enjoying sitting next to Alex.
Fleur’s favourite things are her family, gherkins and Made in Chelsea. We’re all looking forward to her karaoke performance at the HTX Summer Party.
Ryan
This is our tame goth, Ryan. Ryan doesn’t generally pipe up on the social networks. He spends most of his time staring at spreadsheets and saying ‘hmm, that’s interesting…’
Ryan’s favourite things are Pavarotti, thinking of Alex and making me tea. He looks like a My Little Pony and will eat anything you tell him to.
Matt
Say hello to the glamorous Matt, who distributes my wonderful articles all over the net, and makes friends with travel bloggers online and that sort of thing.
Matt loves his raucous housemates, who always leave him surprises around the place. Apart from that, he has a disturbing interest in the brutality of the animal kingdom, and once spent three years alone in the wilderness in a kilt, living off twigs basted in Marmite.
Alex
Guys, wait a sec and prepare yourselves. This, my friends, is Alex. Alex needs little introduction, especially after his recent massive success on a particular contract (but I’ll stop here, cos he really won’t like me going on about it).
Alex is an avid cyclist, and you can often spot him cycling along the south coast clad in Lycra, which he finds both snug and flattering. He loves his beautiful wife, Jo; world travel; and his nice pink shirt.
